Everyone needs a break from the winter weather and this coming Monday, families get to celebrate, well, being families.
In Espanola, the Queensway Pentecostal Church will once again host Family Day festivities at the Espanola Regional Recreational Complex.
There will be a variety of games and crafts for kids to take part including free lunch, skate and swim. From 11:00am to 3:00pm
Over the years, an average of 800 people take in the popular event.
Still with the story, the Ontario government is also offering a free fishing weekend as well, so no licences are required for anyone wanting to get out and enjoy the winter wonderland.
