A sweet 16 birthday bash for a Massey teen will assist her with a vital piece of medical equipment.
The Massey Legion hosted a spaghetti dinner for Emily Richer’s Sweet 16 party this past Saturday with nearly 150 people taking it all in.
Emily’s mother, Lisa, says the family is overwhelmed with the support from the community raising $4,200 to go towards the purchase of a new suction machine and other medical expenses for Emily’s care.
Lisa adds her daughter was born with many medical issues, but has defied the odds, so having a sweet 16 party is a miracle in itself.
