One person has been killed in a collision on Highway 17.
OPP Media Officer, Marie Ford, says there was a serious two-vehicle motor collision near Fairbanks Road on Highway 17 last night shortly after six pm.
Ford confirms one person has died, but the name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
The highway was closed down for several hours while police completed their investigation.
The highway re-opened at 3:30am this morning.
