Before schools in Algoma broke for Christmas, there was a regional robotics competition in Sault Ste. Marie. The tournament winner was a team of high school students from Superior Heights in Sault Ste. Marie. This team plus two others from the Sault and one from Hornepayne will compete at the provincial championships in St. Catharines in late February. The top 12 winners from that event go on to the world championships in April. The regional competition involved students from Grades 7 to 12.
