Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Espanola to Killarney
- Manitoulin Island
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
Significant snowfall tonight into Tuesday morning.
Snow, at times heavy, will develop later this afternoon or early evening and persist into Tuesday morning. Total snowfall amounts near 15 cm are likely.
This snow is associated with an Alberta Clipper that will cross the area.
Lake effect snow squalls are expected to develop late Tuesday after the passage of the the Clipper. Additional snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected locally in areas affected by these squalls.
Travel may become hazardous due to reduced visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
