A big grant from the Trillium Foundation is helping the Mount Dufour Ski Hill in Elliot Lake in a big way. The grant is worth nearly $90,000 and it lets Mount Dufour equip the site with snow guns, a new tiller for the groomer and timers for downhill racing. City Hall also chipped in $25,000. Mount Dufour president Brad Boilard says the upgrades have the potential to reduce operating costs and attract skiers of all ages.
