North-eastern hospitals are coming back on line following a virus that took out Meditech and Mosaiq electronic medical records.
Health Sciences North and other health care facilities including Espanola, Blind River, Elliot Lake and Manitoulin Island, are returning to normal.
HSN Communication specialist, Jason Turnbull says the hospital has now regained access to its main records and services are returning to normal.
The virus was detected last Wednesday and with HSN linked to the other 23 hospitals in the north-east, led to a shut-down of some digital systems throughout the region.
Turnbull adds recovery of the remaining systems will continue over the coming week.
