A Blind River man is facing a sexual assault charge following the investigation of an incident on Boxing Day.
Blind River OPP say on December 27th shortly around 2:30 am, they responded to a sexual assault, which occurred earlier that morning at a residence in Blind River.
The investigation revealed a man was visiting a friend who had other friends over.
The man became intoxicated and decided to stay behind to sleep it off as the others went out to a Boxing Day venue.
While sleeping off the alcohol, the man was sexually assaulted by another man he did not know.
Police arrested a 26-year-old man from Blind River last week who has been charged with sexual assault.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Blind River court on March 7th.
