Carrying out a R.I.D.E. check on Manitoulin has resulted in a stolen vehicle being returned to its owner. OPP had their R.I.D.E. set-up in Little Current when two people jumped from the Toyota they were in as they approached the checkpoint. Because the vehicle was left running it ran into a retaining wall. Police investigated and determined the Toyota had been stolen earlier from a home in Billings Township. Police were not able to find the culprits.
