Three wrestlers from the Elliot Lake Gladiators won gold medals in their respective weight classes at a national tournament. The club was part of the Matman Classic in Brampton which featured 300 wrestlers from across Canada and some from the U.S. Taking home gold were Simon D’Amato, Ayla Thurston and Alex Hamill. The trio are undefeated in all their matches so far this season. Two other club members won bronze medals.
