A business on Manitoulin is getting a provincial government grant to increase food production in Northern Ontario. Purvis Brothers in the Town of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands is getting $28,000 to expand its fish farming. The island company will add one million pounds of fish annually with the installation of new equipment. The grant is from the Local Food Fund which is the Liberals’ way to increase food production in Northern Ontario.
