The Anishinabek Police Service – Sagamok Detachment is investigating the shooting of multiple cats and dogs in the area known as the Fort Lacloche Subdivision.
Media Officer SGT Vernon Macumber says the incident was first reported to police on December 27th, 2018.
Macumber adds one of the animals injured is a dog, which was shot in the neck twice with a smaller caliber round, but survived.
No suspect(s) have been identified.
Macumber says if anyone has any information to call police or Crime Stoppers.
