Nominations are now being accepted for the Joan Mantle Music Trust Community award. Mantle was a long-time educator with the Rainbow school board who made a major contribution to music in the schools. Mantle passed away five years ago and the music trust program was created in her honour. Nominations representing schools and people in post secondary education as well as community groups are eligible. The deadline is January 15th and the recipients will be recognized March 28th.
