Wikwemikong Unceded First Nation’s Naming Day is a unique experience.
The First Nation will host its Naming Ceremony this Sunday hosted by Gerry Kaboni who will lead the formalities throughout the day.
Those who wish to know about their Anishnabe name, must bring tobacco, a feast bundle, clothes of any colour except black and two sponsors, one male, one female, who know and understand the culture.
The special ceremonies will be held on Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Wikwemikong Health Centre Medicine Lodge.
