A Sagamok-Anishnawbek First Nation family lost their vehicle to fire.
The Espanola Fire Department was called out to a fire in the parking lot of Winkel’s YIG yesterday afternoon shortly after three pm.
Several other vehicles had to be moved away from the burning vehicle for fear of an explosion, but that did not occur.
Winkle’s staff also came to the rescue, replacing the family’s food order that had been lost in the blaze.
It is believed the fire started in the electrical system of the car.
No one was injured and the family was insured.
