There is a special birthday around the corner for a young lady from Massey.
Emily is the daughter of Julien and Lisa Richer and was born with several complex medical issues.
In spite of the several diagnoses she has received over the years, she has defied the odds and her
“Sweet 16” is a huge milestone for her.
The family has had its challenges and the ongoing costs not covered by government programs has meant going to the public for support.
To that end, the Massey Legion is donating the hall and the volunteers to cook up a spaghetti supper to mark Emily’s sweet 16.
The dinner is set for Saturday, February 2nd from 4:00pm to 7pm.
Tickets will be available next week.
