Year-end figures from the Ministry of Transportation on road construction are in. Crews upgraded or rehabilitated hundreds of kilometers across the north this season. Some of the work carried out in our area includes rehab work on 17 kilometres of roadway on Highway 17 by Bruce Mines. Nearly 40 kliks of Highway 144 were also rehabilitated and Highway 69 saw another 20 kilometres expanded into four lanes.
