Greater Sudbury Police say the person captured on a video released earlier this week was not Branden Bodson-Gratton, the 25-year-old Sudbury man who has been missing since Dec. 3.
On Monday, police were provided with a video, captured by a Vale security camera, of an individual walking in the area of Frood Road near the Stobie Mine property.
Believing it to be a possible sighting of the missing man, police released the video to the public in the hope that the individual could be identified.
On Thursday, however, the police service announced the person was not him.
Police add Bodson-Gratton was captured on video on December 3rd wearing a blue bandana, black jacket, blue hoodie and dark jeans.
The search continues.
