There will be plenty of gifts under the tree for literally hundreds of children in the Algoma, Manitoulin and Sudbury districts.
Members of the Salvation Army in Elliot Lake and Espanola Lions in Espanola were joined by volunteers to wrap and package toys over the last two days just in time for delivery on Saturday.
Both organizations led respective toy drives for families in the three districts.
And, over 1,000 Christmas hampers will also be delivered this weekend, thanks to the Manitoulin Resource Centre, the Espanola Elks and local area food banks.
