Blind River’s new mayor, Sally Hagman, has called for a town hall meeting in the New Year.
Hagman says the town will host a public information session on January 15th as part of a promise she made during her election campaign to have two annual town hall meetings every year.
It will be an opportunity to update the public about the work council has on the table and to discuss new initiatives including a strategic plan for development in the municipality.
The sessions will be held at the Blind River Community Centre from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
