The rafters were filled at Holy Trinity United Church in Elliot Lake for the annual Christmas Cantata.
Organizer Ann Foy brought together the Jewels of Harmony Choir and Cantata Choir to present; “A Thrill of Hope”.
The money raised through a goodwill offering during the event, $2,000, is for palliative care in Elliot Lake and area.
Foy is now planning to include men on a six-month basis in the all-women Jewels of Harmony on a six-month trial basis starting in January.
