The two-day radiothon at sister station, CKNR in Elliot Lake, is off to a great start.
CKNR is will host day two today of the 15th Annual Christmas Kids Toy Drive Radiothon in partnership with the Salvation Army.
So far, $8,349 in cash has been raised and $1,500 in toys donated to the cause.
Meanwhile, CJJM- Espanola Seventh Annual Spirit of Sharing Radiothon will be held throughout the day to raise $16,000 for two pieces of vital medical equipment.
CJJM has partnered with the Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation to raise funds for an IV infuser pump and a physio bed for the facility.
The public is encouraged to visit both stations and contribute to the causes.
