Two Espanola organizations have come together to help with the safety of others.
Two Espanola Lions Club presented a cheque for $4,000 to members of North Shore Search & Rescue Unit on Saturday morning.
The funds went towards the purchase of equipment in the mobile command system, as well as a generator and other equipment used by the unit.
The search & rescue unit is totally funded by fundraising and support from local partners.
