Over the past several weeks, the Manitoulin OPP has responded to property crimes such as thefts from vehicles, frauds and more.
Media Officer, Constable Marie Ford says they have investigated a number of incidents where thieves have been going into unlocked vehicles, and stealing articles such as wallets, credit cards and cash.
The suspects then make purchases leaving the owners holding the bills.
She suggests owners to make sure to lock it or you could lose it all.
