The Rayside-Balfour Canadians won 6-3 victory over the Espanola Express Friday in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League and the Elliot Lake Wildcats also skated to a 2-1 triumph over the Express.
The Wildcats nailed a second game, 5-4, over the Canadians.
The Timmins Rock defeated the Blind River Beavers 4-3, but the Beavers notched another win over the Hearst Lumberjacks, 6-4 in weekend play.
