Fedeli proposes New Deal for municipalities

Tory leadership hopeful Vic Fedeli is proposing a New Deal for municipalities when it comes to new proposals.  He says right now bureaucrats at Queens Park make the decisions without considering the ramifications to municipalities in the north.  Fedeli says that would change under his leadership.  What Fedeli wants are consultations with municipalities directly affected by new proposals to see if changes are warranted.   Fedeli says the announcement of an aviation fuel tax is a good example of bureaucrats not factoring how this affects towns and cities with airports.  Also running for the Tory leadership are Patrick Brown, Lisa MacLeod, Christine Elliott and Monte McNaughton.
