A man who was supposed to stay away from his common law wife in Espanola faces charges including obstructing a peace officer. The incident involves a Children’s Aid Society worker who was blocked from entering a home while checking on the welfare of a child. The worker thought she saw the estranged common-law spouse and called police. Once they arrived, everyone went in and police determined the man was the common-law spouse.
