Elliot Lake and Espanola have their Santa Claus parades this weekend. In Espanola the parade leaves the Rec Complex at 7:00 p.m. as it makes its way to the high school parking lot. The parade winners will be named shortly after that and while you wait there will be free hot chocolate and cookies. Friday night Elliot Lake has its Santa parade. It begins at 7:00 p.m. from the Civic Centre. Afterward merchants will remain open until 10:00 p.m. as part of Moonlight Madness in Elliot Lake.
