The Espanola OPP introduced themselves to Espanola High School students.
Several OPP officers with the Espanola-Manitoulin detachment hosted a barbecue last Friday as a way of meeting with the students.
The Ontario Provincial Police officially took over policing in Espanola on Thursday, October 11th.
The BBQ was also sponsored by Giant Tiger, Winkles YIG, and Espanola Home Hardware.
They also had a bake sale with all proceeds going towards the United Way.
