If you’re a parent in the Espanola – Manitoulin area whose child will be entering high school next school year, there are dates to keep in mind. The Rainbow board is holding meetings to explain how the transition from middle school to high school works. The meetings will cover things like course codes and timetables. The board has developed a guide to explain the transition in detail and it’s available online at www.rainbowschools.ca A meeting for parents and grade 8 students to talk about the transition takes place at Espanola High School January 29th. On February 25th, Manitoulin parents and students have their transition meeting at Manitoulin Secondary.
