The Elliot Lake Centre for Development has dispersed nearly $30,000 to three organizations. Receiving $10,000 each are the Grace Christian Church for a support centre and a group called the Beehive which offers peer support. In addition, the Elliot Lake Foodbank received about $9,700. The money comes from donations made after the Algo Centre Mall roof-top collapse in June of 2012.
