The Espanola Express lost out to the Soo Thunderbirds 7-3 on Friday, but won their first game of the season Saturday against the French River Rapids 4-2.
The Elliot Lake Wildcats went on to defeat the Soo Eagles, 5-3, Saturday night, but the Eagles came back to blank the Blind River Beavers 3-0, Sunday afternoon.
And, the Soo Thunderbirds won a 4-3 victory over the Wildcats in a Sunday matchup.
