The Mining Association of Canada is giving a thumbs up to a program that helps Canadian mining companies with international operations. The program is the Extractive Sector Trade Strategy and was announced by the federal government. Under it, Canadian mining companies can pursue better opportunities abroad through the removal of trade barriers.
