Sudbury police have charged a 34-year-old man after they found four home-made bombs in a building in the city’s north end.

The bomb squad detonated all four bombs on site.

Residents who were evacuated when police got word of the bombs on Friday were later allowed back to their homes.

The man faces numerous charges including possession of a prohibited device and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He’s also charged with making or possessing explosives for an unlawful purpose.
