Unionized staff at three local area banking institutions now has agreements in place.
Unifor Local 74-1 President, Joanne Lamothe, says a tentative agreement was reached between the Northern Credit Unions in Espanola, Little Current and Mindemoya and the union on August 30th.
The ten members voted in favour of the new three-year deal last week, on Thursday, September 6th.
Lamothe says the contract includes improvements in wages, benefits, stronger language and equivalency for seniority.
The three-year deal is retroactive to April 1st, 2018 and expires on March 31st, 2020.
