A fundraiser dance in Espanola for the five-year-old Webbwood boy with Leukemia has brought in $9,000. Blake Crawford goes to Ottawa on a regular basis for treatment and the money pays for family expenses not covered by healthcare. Blake loves hockey and is a super fan of the Espanola Rivermen. He also got to take in a weekend NHL game in Ottawa where the Senators played the Toronto Maple Leafs. The youngster got to meet some of the Leafs players close-up. As for the fundraiser dance at the Elks Hall in Espanola, 200 people attend and the event included a draw for Maple Leafs tickets.
