Espanola’s Caroline Erhardt finished fourth in Toronto at an international competition.
The Canadian Women’s Triple Jump seven-time champion had some good jumps Sunday at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships.
Ehrhardt’s best jump was 13.36 metres, but the competition was tough at the track and field competition at University of Toronto’s Varsity Stadium.
Jamaica’s Shanieka Ricketts jumped 14.25 metres to take the gold with the U.S. clinching silver and Dominica in third.
Ehrhardt is continuing her training in her bid to try and be on Canada’s next Olympic team.
