A blood donor clinic is being held in honour of Espanola’s Blake Bond.
Nine-year-old Blake just completed chemo treatments in Ottawa and a bone marrow transplant in Toronto and is doing well.
Territory Manager, Elaine St. Pierre, with Canadian Blood Services, says Blake has received many units of blood and wants to see people come out and help others.
She says if you do not have an appointment, just drop today from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Espanola Knights of Columbus Hall.
