City – Elliot Lake – vouches for Service Line Warrantees

Residents of Elliot Lake have been receiving letters from Service Line Warrantees of Canada featuring the City of Elliot Lake Logo.

City CAO, Dan Gagnon, says the letters are legitimate and are part of a partnership that was endorsed by Council in late 2017.
He says the service is designed for homeowners whose insurance may not cover unexpected repairs to water/sewer lines on private property, adding it is completely voluntary.

Gagnon adds the city’s participation is limited to allowing the mailing to occur and the city provided only postal codes, not addresses or other personal data.
For more information, questions about the service can be directed to the company at 1-866-922-9004 or via email: [email protected]
