A memorial bench dedicated in memory of a well-known Espanola man, Rolly Richer, was installed at the Black Creek Pier by his daughter Lisa Lovean and son Jamie Richer.
The Espanola Game and Gish Association agreed the pier would be the perfect spot since their dad loved to fish there.
Rolly passed away in February and was well known for his big smile, outgoing personality and helping hand.
Lisa says her dad was an avid fisherman and black creek was one of his favorite fishing places to go with JR.
The family extends a special thank you to Adam Zerko for creating and welding the beautiful plaque display.
The bench dedication took place Wednesday.
