Espanola Minor Baseball in its final week

Espanola’s Minor Baseball volunteer coaches, parents and kids will be out in force.
Association President Chad Lamothe says the league, which has around 250 kids from four to 16 years of age playing on the diamond, are finishing off their regular schedule this week.
They will cap off their season this Saturday starting at 9:00am with the annual windup … there is a barbecue and the public is invited to come out and watch the action.
The season was extended this year at the request of parents who wanted a longer season. Take it all in at the Red McCarthy Ball Fields on the Queensway Avenue.
Lamothe adds more volunteers are needed to sit on the baseball executive or the league could fail. Anyone interested in donating their time or wanting more information, contact Chad on FB
