The City of Elliot Lake is under a water restriction.
Residents in the city can only water or top off pools on from 5:00am to 8:00am and 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
Even number addresses on even days, odd numbered on odd days.
Espanola residents have been asked to cut back on water usage because excessive water use is causing water plant problems.
With the excess use, the second pump is constantly turning on and off causing brown water in the water lines.
The town had to flush the sound end of the town last Thursday to clear the lines.
