The Espanola Senior Ladies 15th Annual Cancer Tournament was another huge success this year with all funds raised going directly to the Northeastern Cancer Treatment Centre in Sudbury. The tourney was held on June 12th under sunny skies. Visitors to the Espanola Golf & Country Club would have been greeted by friendly faces and plenty of pink, and the grounds were also handsomely decorated. Bev Vincent says as of press time, $10,600 had been raised with more funds to come. The women extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed, all the volunteers and the participants and businesses that supported the one day challenge.
