Wikwemikong Police have charged two local men in connection to historical sexual assaults.
Last August, the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service asked the OPP for assistance in investigating a historical sexual assault complaint on the First Nation.
It was discovered that a second sexual assault, unrelated to the first complaint, is also alleged to have taken place.
Last Thursday, two men aged 74 and 72, were arrested and charged in connection with the sexual assault complaints.
Both are to appear in Gore Bay court on April 17th.
