A Community Fibre Art Project Is Underway In Espanola

A collaborative project between the Espanola Fibre Arts Festival and the Espanola Public Library will support the creation of a massive fibre art installation that will be called ‘A Day in the Park’.

Fibre artists and enthusiasts will be creating and contributing elements that represent their experiences enjoying park spaces.

All components of the installation will be created from fibre – yarn, fabric, wood and paper and the results will culminate during this year’s 7th Annual Espanola Fibre Arts Festival in October.

The installation format and locations will be revealed just before the festival.
