Elliot Lake’s Elijah Hennessey, the son of Jessie Hennessey and Tom Wallace, and grandson of Darla and Howie Hennessey, was born last November with heart problems.
Fundraising organizers point out Darla and her family have volunteered for many years at community events and now it is time to pay it forward to the Hennessey family.
A fundraiser will take place on April 7th from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Collins Hall in Elliot Lake, including a silent and live auction, yard and bake sale and barbecue.
Jessie and baby Elijah are at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and are facing many procedures and eventual surgeries.
