Elliot Lake Secondary school has won a provincial gold medal and a bronze in skiing!
Individually, in the Giant Slalom event, Jacques Tiessen was the fastest down the hill with his combined times finishing first and bringing home the gold while the team finished tenth overall.
As a team in the Slalom, Tiessen, Trent Heard and David Tyler finished in sixth place.
Again individually, Tiessen came third and earned a bronze.
The three competed at the OFFSA Alpine Skiing competition at Blue Mountain in Collingwood last week.
