Highways re-open after flooding

Highway 69 south of Sudbury has re-opened.  It re-opened just after 4:00 a.m. Friday when flooding forced its closure around 7:00 p.m. Thursday.       The 69 was closed between Highway 64 and Highway 607.  Meanwhile in Algoma, Highway 556, also known as Ranger Lake Road is also open again.  A stretch of that roadway between Highway 129 and Highway 532 was closed earlier this week also because of flooding.
