Leukemia youngster to drop puck at Rivermen game

If he’s up to it, the five-year-old Webbwood boy with Leukemia will be dropping the puck this Friday at the Espanola Rivermen’s home game.  That game will also serve as fundraiser for Blake Crawford who is being treated for the blood disease in Ottawa but is home this weekend.  The club is selling adult and kids T-shirts at Friday’s game and there will also be donation boxes scattered across the arena.  Also for sale are tickets to win Maple Leafs tickets for a future game against Washington in Toronto  All the money that’s raised helps offset travelling expenses for Blake’s parents when they stay with him in Ottawa.  Blake is a big fan of the Rivermen and was at all their home games last season.
