The Health Sciences North hospital in Sudbury and Laurentian University are sharing $100,000. It’s thanks to the group Toronto Celebrates Sudbury and its fundraising efforts. The hospital and school will use the gift for research projects. The Toronto-based organization was formed three years ago by professionals in Toronto who have connections with Sudbury. They say it’s their way to give back to their home town.
